Biography

 The Dr. Ramon Vilallonga Puy is a reference in gastroenterological surgery and advanced laparoscopic surgery for obesity (minimally invasive surgery) and endocrine (thyroid and adrenal). He dedicates his time to advanced surgery and high complexity of obesity thanks to his great experience in the management of these patients. Trained in Barcelona and USA, he has worked in Belgium in high performance centers in endocrine surgery and obesity. Also expert in surgery of the thyroid and suprarenal gland, develops at national level its work in training and protocolization of techniques. Expert of the 2006 in Robotic Surgery with the use of the surgical robot Da Vinci, in the specialty of Digestive Surgery and of the obesity with its formation realized in Portugal and the USA. He has also been a pioneer in laparoscopic SILS technique (single incision / hole approach in laparoscopic surgery) in the management of cholelithiasis. In his daily practice he has a special dedication, through laparoscopic surgery and robotics, to the following pathologies: Obesity surgery, obesity failure surgery and highly revisional complexity.
