At present and during the last 8 years in the “Computational Analytical and Structrural Chemistyr Department” as senior scientific in the “Diseases of Developing World DrugDiscover Center” in Tres Cantos, my work has been focused on: •Implement target identification methodology for New Chemical Entities with antimalarial activity, •Set up in vitro metabolism assays in different hepatic fractions (microsomes, S-9,hepatocites) for compounds profiling. The Analytical part for those studies was performedby LC-MS with LC systems (Agilent 1100, Waters-Acquity UPLC) interfaced to Mass Spectrometry equipment API2000, API4000, API2000 Qtrap (ABSciex). •Identification of Phase I and Phase II metabolic pathways for compounds from in vitroassays, with a q-TOF system QStar Elite and a Ion Trap system Qtrap (ABSciex). •Elucidation of Drug-Protein Complex with a q-TOF system QStar-Elite (ABSciex). •Set up Analytical Methods for structural elucidation and quantification of new chemical entities by LC-MS/MS with the following equipment: Agilent 1100-Waters-ZMD, Agilent1100-Qstar Elite and Acquity UPLC-API2000 Qtrap.
