Biography
Graduated in Medicine from the National University of Cuyo, Argentina (2003). Specialist in Ophthalmology by the University Hospital of Salamanca, Spain (2009). Has obtained the research adequacy (Diploma of Advanced Studies) in the University of Salamanca with the work: Advances in Surgery. Model of corneal healing (2008). She has been trained at The Eye Clinic of the University of Pittsburgh, PA, USA for specialization in pseudophakic refractive surgery (2008) and Melles Cornea Clinic, Rotterdam, Netherlands for specialization in lamellar corneal transplants (2010). Research Areas He participates in clinical trials on ocular surface pathology and conducts basic research on corneal regeneration, together with the Cell Therapy Area. His clinical research papers focus on corneal pathology and the study of intraocular lenses and cataract surgery. Collaborates in clinical trials of the Department of Ophthalmology and projects of the RETICS network. As a teacher Coordinator of clinical practices and internships in Ophthalmology of medical students at the University of Navarra. Responsible for the internal student of Ophthalmology. He teaches the class of Applications of Cellular Therapy in Ophthalmology of the University Master in Biomedical Research of the University of Navarra.
