Biography
Graduated in Medicine by the University of Navarra in 1995. PhD in Medicine from the University of Navarra in 2004 with the thesis "Echocardiographic and biochemical characterization of diastolic dysfunction in hypertension". Specialist in Cardiology since 2001, he completed this specialty at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and completed his training as an echocardiographer at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2002. Clinical collaborator of the Department of Cadiology from 2001 to 2004, rejoining the Department again in 2014. Research Areas Study and diagnosis by image of the cardiac affectation of the Arterial Hypertension. Member of the multidisciplinary translational research team (EMIT) "TRUE-HF" for the investigation of heart failure with preserved systolic function.
