Biography
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1998. Specialist in Family and Community Medicine in 2003. Master in Palliative Medicine and Oncology Patient Support by the Autonomous University of Madrid in 2005. Doctor of Medicine from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Department of Medical Psychology and Psychiatry in 2006. From 2007 to 2015 he worked as Deputy Medical Director at the Vianorte-Laguna Foundation in Madrid. Visiting Researcher at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Clinical Fellow in Palliative Medicine at the University of Alberta in 2012. Since September 2015 he has been working as a doctor for half a week in the Symptom Support and Control Team of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. Research Areas Since September 2015 he has been working for half a week as a researcher of the Atlantes Program of the Institute of Culture and Society, developing the area of ​​Medical Education and Palliative Care. He has collaborated in research projects related to evaluation instruments in palliative care, symptom control, especially on delirium and constipation, development of palliative care, and decision making at the end of life As a teacher Associate Professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra. As researcher He has several publications in national and international magazines on evaluation and control of symptoms, delirium, constipation, medical education and decision-making at the end of life.
