Biography
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery (1998) from the National University of Cordoba (Argentina). Specialist in Anesthesiology by the National University of Córdoba and by the Medical Council of the Province of Córdoba-Argentina (2003). Homologation of the title of Medicine in 2004 and the Specialist in Anesthesiology and Reanimation in 2007 by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. Fellow with Attestation of Formation Specialisee Aprofondie (AFSA), Anesthesie and Reanimation Cardiovasculaire, at Hôpital Civil de Strasbourg-France (2005). European Diploma in Anesthesia and Intensive Care (EDAIC) by ESA in 2007 (European Society of Anaesthesiology). ESA Fellow in Cardiopulmonary Transplantation and Critical Care at Cambridge Papworth Hospital (2010). European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC) by the ESICM in 2013 (European Society of Intensive Care Medicine). Research Areas He is currently conducting a myocardial protection study in non-cardiac surgery and is conducting the doctoral thesis. As a teacher Professor and Clinical Tutor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra. Member of the EDAIC Examining Committee for ESA since 2011. He is part of the team of professors responsible for Advanced Life Support (SVA) courses at the Faculty of Medicine and the University of Navarra Clinic. Accredited as an Instructor in SVA courses by the American Heart Association (AHA) and SEMICYUC (Spanish Society of Intensive Care Medicine, Critical and Coronary Units). Instructor of Intraesophageal Echocardiography courses.

Responsibility in Critical Care Unit (UCI). Teaching in Anesthesia and Critical Care at the University of Navarra. Cardiovascular and thoracic anesthesia. Perioperative transesophageal echocardiography.
