Biography
Graduated in Physics by the University of Valladolid (1992), and doctor in Physics by the same University (2011). He trained as a specialist in Hospital Radiophysics at the Central University Hospital of Asturias. He holds the title of Supervisor of Radioactive Facilities (2012). Member of the Radiation Oncology Service of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. ACTIVITY As a teacher He has been assistant professor of the Polytechnical School of Engineers of Valladolid. He has taught for the titles of Supervisor and Operator of Radioactive Facilities at the Central University Hospital of Asturias and at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. As researcher He has participated in more than 12 scientific publications, and in several specialized congresses. He is currently Principal Investigator of a project funded by the Mutua Madrileña Foundation.
Research Interest
He developed theoretical research in the fields of thermodynamics of liquid metal alloys and the associative theories of liquid mixtures; and practical research on volumes of excess liquid mixtures, and microcalorimetry of nanofluids (theme of his doctoral thesis). He currently researches in dosimetry with spherical semiconductor detectors, and in camera detection of patient movements in radiotherapy treatments.
