Biography

    Graduated in Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid (1989) and Doctor, with extraordinary prize, by the University of Navarra (2002).   After rotating in internal medicine, general surgery and hospital emergencies in the UK, he trained as a specialist in General Psychiatry at the University Hospital of the University of Cincinnati (Ohio, USA), where he also held a Fellowship in Biological Psychiatry. Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Children's Hospital Medical Center, University of Cincinnati (Ohio, USA). Specialist of the Department of Psychiatry and Medical Psychology of the Clinic University of Navarra.   Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit. Research Areas Member of the editorial committee of 7 scientific journals (national and international) and reviewer of 40 scientific journals. Participant in 42 research protocols between clinical trials and studies awarded by national or international agencies on psychiatry and psychopharmacology of the child and adolescent, as principal investigator of the study or collaborating researcher. As a teacher Professor Contracted Doctor, ANECA Accredited since July 2016. Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine, University of Navarra.
