Biography
Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Salamanca (1986-1992). Training program via MIR in Cardiology at the Hospital 12 de Octubre de Madrid (1993-1997). Doctorate courses in the Department of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Madrid (1994-1995). Obtention of position as Statutory Fixed Personnel in the OPE of December 2001. Accreditation in Specific Training for the Practice of Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology, granted by the Spanish Society of Cardiology (2004). Coordinator of the Unit of Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology of the Cardiology department of the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre de Madrid from 2015 to 2017. Research Areas He has participated as a researcher in 24 research projects. ACTIVITY As a teacher Medical collaborator in practical teaching since 2005 (Department of Medicine I, Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, Universidad Complutense de Madrid) Guardian of residents in the Cardiology Service of Hospital 12 de Octubre since 2010. As researcher He has published more than 45 articles in national scientific journals and 35 publications in international journals. Co-author on 9 specialty books. He has presented more than 150 papers in national congresses and more than 100 in international congresses, as well as numerous papers in meetings and congresses related to his specialty.
