Biography
Bachelor (1989) and Doctor (1997) in Medicine by the University of Navarra. European Board of Surgery in Surgical Oncology, awarded by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UESM, 2004). Expert in Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Breast by the University of La Coruña (2006). Specialist in General Surgery at the University of Navarra Clinic (1995). Since 1996, clinical specialist of the Department of General Surgery of the Clinic University of Navarra. Since 2006 he has been directing the Mammary Pathology Area. Since 2015 Co-director of the Breast Cancer Area of ​​the University of Navarra Clinic. Research Areas For years, he has had weekly dedication in the Experimental Operating Room of the University of Navarra Clinic. He has also participated in 6 research projects in experimental organ transplantation. As a teacher Professor of Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra (June 2013). Professor of Surgery for opposition ANECA since 2012. Professor responsible for the subjects of "Surgery and Anesthesia" (core subject of third of Medícina) and "Mammary Pathology" from 1998 to the present. As researcher Author of more than 40 articles and more than 200 presentations to national and international congresses of the field of his specialty.
