Biography
Graduated in Medicine with Diploma of Honor by the University of Buenos Aires (2008, Argentina). Specialist Physician in Cardiology (Hospital Universitario Carlos Haya de Málaga, 2009-2014). Sub-specialization in arrhythmology and cardiac electrophysiology at the Universidad de Navarra Clinic (2014-2015). Researcher in clinical trials, international registries and basic research studies on atrial fibrillation ablation. Member of the Working Group on Cardiac Cell Electrophysiology and the EHRA Innovation Working Group of the European Heart Rhythm Association.
Research Interest
Cardiac Electrophysiology: Diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. Cardiac electrophysiological studies. Ablation by radiofrequency of conventional and complex substrates. Ablation of Atrial Fibrillation. Implantation and monitoring of cardiac devices (pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronizers). Left atrial percutaneous closure in patients with atrial fibrillation for the prevention of stroke.
