Biography
Graduate (1988) in Medicine by the University of Navarra and Doctor (1994), with extraordinary prize of doctorate, by the Autonomous University of Madrid. He completed the Immunology specialty at the University Hospital of La Princesa (Madrid, 1993). He worked for four years at Bristol Myers-Squib's research center in Seattle (USA). Co-director of the Immunology and Immunotherapy Service since 2015. Senior researcher at the Center for Applied Medical Research (CIMA). Research Areas His lines of research focus on immunology and cancer immunotherapy with a transnational approach from experimental models to clinical trials. He has been awarded the BIAL Grand Prize for Medicine, the Conde de Cartagena Prize of the Royal Academy of Medicine and the Dr. Durantez prize of the LAIR Foundation. As a teacher Professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra. Professor of Immunology in opposition since 2004. He has given numerous lectures, courses and seminars. As researcher He has written 120 articles in national and international scientific journals. Author and co-author of 12 chapters of books of the specialty. He has presented 65 communications to international and 27 national congresses. He has published more than 130 research papers.
