Isidro Olavide Goya

Biography

    Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the National University of Cordoba (Argentina, 1989) and Doctor in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra (1993). Specialist in Cardiology (1994) and specialist in Anesthesia and Reanimation (1998) by the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. Gold Medal in Sciences by the Ministry of Education of the Argentine Government (1978). Lacer Award for Research of the Spanish Society of Cardiology (1992). He has performed several stays in the Cardiovascular Anesthesia Program and Intraoperative Echocardiography at Cleveland Clinic (Ohio, USA). Lacer Award for research of the Spanish Society of Cardiology for the work on nitrates in hypertension. October 1992.   Since March 1999, specialist in the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. Research Areas Has participated in research on: Acute myocardial infarction. Thrombogenic risk factors. Cardiac Rehabilitation. Cardioprotection in noncardiac anesthesia.   As a teacher Adjunct professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra.    He has been director of 6 courses and co-director of 7 courses of intraoperative echocardiography for anesthesiologists. He has given sessions in 28 courses and seminars related to the specialty. As researcher He has presented 27 communications to national and international congresses.  He has written 17 articles in scientific journals and 3 chapters of books related to the specialty.
