Biography
Licentiate (1985) and doctor (2003) in Medicine and Surgery by the University of Navarra. Specialist by the Nuclear Medicine Service of the University of Navarra Clinic. He completed his studies at Mount Sinai hospitals in New York, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Hammersmith in London. ACTIVITY As a teacher Professor of Radiology and Physical Medicine accredited by the ANECA. Full Professor of Nuclear Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra. Director of several doctoral theses. Professor of Doctorate courses and Master programs in several Spanish universities. As researcher He has published more than 75 articles in scientific journals with an index of international impact. He has participated in the elaboration of 11 national and international books of the specialty. He has presented more than 150 communications to national and international congresses. Principal Investigator in the last 5 years in two national competitive projects (Fund of Sanitary Investigations and Technological Development in Health, Institute Carlos III), and in 3 projects with private financing (clinical trials and national foundations.

Neuroendocrine tumors: Radionuclide-labeled peptide therapy (177Lu-DOTA TATE). Congenital hyperinsulinism: Diagnosis of forms by PET / CT with 18F-FDOPA.
