Biography
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valladolid (1975) and Doctor from the University of Navarra (1988). Specialist in Nuclear Medicine at the Central Hospital of the Red Cross of Madrid (1980). Clinical Research Fellow at the PET Research Center at the Medical Research Council at Hammersmith Hospital, London (1988) and at the NMR Unit at the Hvidovre Hospital in Copenhagen (1989). Director of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the University of Navarra Clinic. Research Areas Member of the Editorial Committee of the Spanish Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. Scientific Evaluator of the National Evaluation and Prospective Agency (ANEP) of the Instituto Carlos III. He has participated in 25 Research Projects financed by Public and Private Organizations. Of them 12 as Principal Investigator. ACTIVITY As a teacher Professor of University accredited by the ANECA. Professor of Nuclear Medicine, Radiology and Molecular Medicine at the University of Navarra. Director of 8 Doctoral Theses. Member of the National Commission of the Specialty to proposal of the Ministry of Health. As researcher He has published 2 books as editor and 17 chapters of books. Author of 101 articles in national and international scientific journals, 91 of them indexed. He has presented more than 400 papers in national and international congresses.

Conventional Gammagraphy in all clinical areas especially in Osteoarticular, Kidney, Digestive, Lung, Vascular Pathology PET in the Oncologic and Infectious Area
