Biography
Graduated (1979) and was awarded his doctorate (1988) in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra. He now works as a Radiodiagnosis Specialist at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. He is a clinical consultant in the Radiology Department, and the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Unit Coordinator at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. Deputy Director of the Vascular Medicine Area at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. ACTIVITY As an educator He is an associate professor of both Radiology and Physical Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine, and students studying for Masters in Bioengineering at the University of Navarra. He is also the Head of a greater specialisation course at the University: Vascular and Interventional Radiology As a researcher Co-author of 37 books and author of over 160 articles in national and international magazines.
Research Interest
He has led and participated in several research projects about the multidisciplinary treatment of osteosarcoma, percutaneous porto-caval shunt, hepatic volumetrics and the embolization particle Hepasphere.
