Diagnosis of human brucellosis where he performed the Doctoral Thesis. Diagnosis and treatment of infections associated with biomaterials. Bioengineering applied to the treatment of infections associated with biomaterials. Diagnosis, treatment and prevention of legionellosis. Development of new therapies for the treatment of infections by multiresistant microorganisms. Helicobacter pylori infection. Impact of smoking on bacterial respiratory infections. Mechanisms of resistance to antimicrobial agents. Management in Microbiology laboratories and optimization of microbiological diagnosis.
