Biography
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery by the Faculty of Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid in 1981. Specialist in Urology, in the Iron Gate Clinic of Madrid, in the years 1984-89. Candidate eligible for a US specialist program, ECFMG-VISA Qualifying Examination. Fellow of the European Board of Urology 1992. Collaborator in the development of the laparoscopy program at the Hospital Universitario Príncipe de Asturias between the years 2006-2008. Deputy of the Urology Service of the Hospital Severo Ochoa of Madrid 1989-1990. Assistant of the Urology Service of the Hospital Universitario Príncipe de Asturias since 1990. Collaborator of the Urology Service, Clínica Universidad de Navarra, headquarters of Madrid from 2007 to the present. Research Areas Secondary investigator in the multicenter clinical trial conducted by SKF on the treatment of BPH with Epristeride. Secondary investigator in a multicenter clinical trial on female urinary incontinence. Visiting Clinician at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnessota, USA 1999, for training in Endourology. ACTIVITY As a teacher Tutor of residents in the University Hospital Prince of Asturias between 2005 and 2008. Collaborator in the teaching of medical students and residents of Family Medicine who do their internships or rotations in the Urology Service of the Prince of Asturias Hospital. As researcher Author and co-author of publications in national and foreign magazines and communications to national and international congresses. Co-author of chapters of two books (Internal Medicine in the Geriatric Patient and Medimecum). Doctoral Thesis on the Expression of Adhesion Molecules as a Prognostic Factor in Renal Cancer, in the process of elaboration.

Study and treatment of urological cancer and prevention and treatment of stones in the urinary tract.
