Graduate (1978) and Doctor (1989) in Medicine and Surgery by the University of Navarra. Specialist in Pediatrics at the University of Navarra Clinic. Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburg in 1996. He completed a subspecialty of Pediatric Hemato-Oncology with stays at the Christie Hospital and Holt Radium Institute Hospitals in Manchester (UK) and the Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo (New York, USA). Has the Bone Marrow Transplant Training Certificate from the NewYork State Health Department. Research Areas He has conducted 7 clinical trials with patients as principal investigator. He has received 15 research grants and 9 awards for scientific work. ACTIVITY As a teacher Ordinary professor of the subject of Pediatrics in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra. Accredited by ANECA as Professor of Private University. Accredited as Professor Contracted Doctor by ANECA. Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Navarra. As researcher He has published more than 140 articles in national and international scientific journals. Author of 85 chapters of books and 37 publications related to continuing education in pediatrics. He has directed 11 doctoral theses.

Its main line of research is related to the carcinogenesis of solid tumors in children and the side effects of the treatments and their long-term follow-up.
