Biography
Bachelor (2003) and Doctor of Medicine at the University of Navarra (2013). Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Clinic of Navarra. He has completed his training in endocrinology and reproduction with a one-year stay at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina (USA). He has taken several courses at national reference centers to complete his training in diagnostic and surgical hysteroscopy, laparoscopic surgery and tubal microsurgery. Research Areas Influence of nutritional determinants on conjugal sterility, and knowledge of Natural Procreation Technology (NaProTechnology). Conservative management of symptomatic benign pathology. Fibroids Endometriosis. Influence of nutritional determinants on sterility. Influence of stress on fertility. ACTIVITY As a teacher Professor contracted doctor of obstetrics and gynecology of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra. Collaborating professor of the subjects of Human Reproduction and Human Sexuality of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra. Collaborating professor of the preclinical subject of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra. As researcher Author of several articles in international journals and three chapters in books on Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as on Women's Health and Reproductive Health.
Research Interest
Obstetrics and General Gynecology. Normal and high risk pregnancy control. Gynecologic endocrinology (amenorrhea and menstrual disorders, anovulation, polycystic ovarian syndrome, menopause, etc.). Fertility. Surgical treatment of pathologies related to fertility (uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis, tubar microsurgery, etc.). Benign surgery (fibroids, cysts, abscesses, heavy bleeding). Invasive minimally invasive surgery. Laparoscopy. Hysteroscopy.
