Biography

    Licenciada (1986) and Doctor (1991) in Medicine and Surgery by the University of Navarra. Performed the specialty of Pathological Anatomy in the Clinic University of Navarra (1990). He has held a postdoctoral stay at the Medical Center of the University of Nebraska, in the Department of Pathology and Microbiology (March 1993-April 1995).   Specialist in the Department of Pathological Anatomy of the Clinic.    Director of the Department of Pathological Anatomy since 2016 and responsible for the Area of ​​Cytopathology. Research Areas It is part of multidisciplinary work teams within the university, as well as national and international.    His main areas of research focus on the application of complementary molecular techniques to cytological samples through the obtaining of material through minimally invasive methods.    It emphasizes the interdisciplinary and international character of the research teams in which it participates, reflecting the stable collaborations that it maintains in research.   ACTIVITY   As a teacher Professor of Pathological Anatomy, accredited by ANECA, in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra. As researcher Author of 100 articles in national and international scientific journals.   She has done more than 200 communications to national and international congresses and numerous conferences as guest expert.
