Biography
Licenciada (1989) and Doctor (1996) in Medicine and Surgery by the University of Navarra (19889). Specialist in Nuclear Medicine by the University of Navarra Clinic. He subspecialized in Nuclear Cardiology at the Cardiac Imaging Laboratory at Mount Sinai in New York. He completed his training with a Fellow of the European Board of Nuclear Medicine. Clinical Consultant of the Nuclear Medicine Service of the University of Navarra Clinic. Research Areas Member of the editorial board of the scientific journal of the Spanish Society of Nuclear Medicine and molecular imaging. He has participated in 25 research projects. ACTIVITY As a teacher Accredited as Professor of the University by the National Agency for Quality and Accreditation (ANECA 2009) in the area of ​​knowledge of Radiology and Physical Medicine. He develops his teaching activity in Nuclear Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra as Associate Professor. She is tutor of Nuclear Medicine Residents and member of the Teaching Commission. As researcher He has published more than 70 articles, of which 50 have been in indexed journals with a total of 712 citations and a factor H of 13. He has participated in the elaboration of five books, with 6 chapters. It adds 33 invited papers, more than 30 communications to international congresses and more than 40 communications to national congresses.
Research Interest
Study of the diagnosis, treatment planning, monitoring of response and evaluation of recurrence by PET / CT in patients with lymphomas, head and neck tumors, lung, breast, melanoma, gynecological and digestive tract tumors. Study of coronary artery disease and vascular pathology using SPECT and PET / CT.
