Biography
Graduated in Medicine (1975) by the University of Zaragoza and Doctor (1983), with Extraordinary Prize of Doctorate, by the University of Navarra. He completed his specialty in Internal Medicine at the University of Barcelona (1983). In 2000 he obtained the Chair at the University of La Coruña. Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra until 2010. Specialist in the Department of Internal Medicine of the Clinic University of Navarra. Director of the Medical Center for Applied Research (CIMA) of the University of Navarra since October 2016. Research Areas He has participated in 15 subsidized research projects and two patents. ACTIVITY As a teacher Professor of General Pathology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra Clinic. As researcher Author of 80 articles in various international and national journals and 15 chapters of books. He has participated in several national and international congresses with more than 171 papers presented.
