Biography

 Graduated in Medicine and Surgery by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra in 1995. (1989-1995).  Specialist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology by the University of Navarra Clinic in 2000.  Clinical Collaborator of the Digestive System Service of the Clinic University of Navarre in exclusive dedication since 2000.  Degree of Doctor by the University of Navarra in the year 2003. Research Areas   He has collaborated in several research projects in the clinical and endoscopic area of ​​his specialty. ACTIVITY As a teacher Clinical Associate Professor of the University of Navarra, Faculty of Medicine since 2003. As researcher He has made more than 80 communications to national and international congresses of his specialty.  He has published more than 30 articles in national and international journals of his specialty.  He has made several presentations and has participated as moderator in different forums, courses and congresses of his specialty.

Research Interest

  Diagnosis and treatment of GERD (GERD unit). Diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of Barrett's Esophagus (GERD Unit). Functional digestive pathology (IBS, functional dyspepsia, functional heartburn, hypersensitive esophagus, constipation). Digestive diseases related to intolerances or food allergies (Celiac disease, lactose intolerance, fructose-sorbitol intolerance, Eosinophilic esophagitis). Performing diagnostic and therapeutic Digestive endoscopy. Performance of functional tests (24-hour pHmetry, Impedance- 24-hour pHmetry Bravo capsule pHmetry, esophageal manometry and conventional and high-resolution anus-rectal).
