Jas Sandhu

Biography

  Jas Sandhu is Head, Specialty Blacks Business, at Birla Carbon. He is based at the company headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. In this role, Mr. Sandhu provides leadership for Birla Carbon’s Specialty Blacks Business globally. Mr. Sandhu joined the carbon black business in 1991 at the manufacturing facility in Hamilton, Canada. He has held positions of significant responsibility including Sales Manager for Canada, Director of Asia, and Vice President of Global Marketing. He also has over 30 years of industrial experience, including positions held in Technology, Purchasing, Sales and Marketing across companies like Goodyear, GE, and Rohm and Haas.  

Research Interest

 Mr. Sandhu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, and has completed the Asia Pacific Executive MBA program from the National University of Singapore.
