Biography
Ronaldo Duarte is President, South America, and is based at the company’s regional head office in São Paulo, Brazil. In his role, Mr. Duarte provides leadership for Birla Carbon’s South America operations. Mr. Duarte has been associated with the carbon black business for over 36 years. Prior to his current role, he held leadership positions across Sales and Marketing and Technical Services for both RCB and SBB, Supply Chain, Quality, and Safety, Health and Environment. He started his career with the carbon black business in Quality and Production control in Brazil.

Mr. Duarte holds a Chemistry degree from CARMO University, a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from Oswaldo Cruz University, and post-graduate degrees in Business Administration and Economy from FAAP University, and Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, USA.
