Biography
Surendra Goyal is Chief Financial Officer at Birla Carbon. He is based at the company’s head office in Mumbai, India. In this position, Mr. Goyal provides financial leadership for Birla Carbon globally. He also leads business development and growth projects for the business. Mr. Goyal joined the carbon black business in 2006 and led the commercial function for Alexandria Carbon Black Co. SAE, Egypt. He was also responsible for Business Development, Europe and North America regions for the business. In 2009, he was promoted as the Chief Financial Officer for the global business. Prior to his current role, Mr. Goyal has been associated with the Aditya Birla Group for over 20 years, holding positions of increasing responsibility in the commercial function of the cement business.
