Biography
"I was born in 1989 in Italy and I did my undergraduate studies at the Università degli Studi di Milano. I joined the ALGANT Master Program and I graduated in 2013 in the Universities of Milano and Bordeaux. I obtained my Ph.D in October 2016 at the Université de Bordeaux and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya under the co-supervision of Jean Gillibert and Victor Rotger with a dissertation on the factorization of p-adic L-functions and Stark-Heegner points. I have now a position in ICMAT as a Severo Ochoa postdoctoral researcher where I am continuing my studies in Algebraic Number Theory. The main motivations for my work are the conjecture of Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer, the arithmetic of modular curves and the theory of L-functions. Since everything seems more interesting when things go p-adically, I am working with p-adic families of modular forms, p-adic L-functions and Euler-systems."
