Biography
Masters and PhD in Pure Mathematics at York University, Toronto, Canada. Her Undergraduate studies were in Mathematics at the Seconda Università degli studi di Napoli, Italy, where she has also been a Researcher and was awarded the title of Subject Expert in Geometry at the Dipartimento di Matematica. She holds a tenure teaching position at the Polo Tecnologico I.I.S.S. G. Galilei, Bolzano, Italy. She is a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of York University, Canada, and a Research Member in the ICEI and at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain. Her research interests focus on set-theoretical topology, hyperspace topologies, utility and choice theory, information and uncertainty. She has more than thirty publications between papers in refereed international journals and chapters in international edited books. She is also a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews (American Mathematical Society) for which she has published more than thirty reviews.
