Biography
Assistant Lecturer in UCM since 2015. PhD degree from University Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid, Spain) in 2010. PhD thesis awarded with the “industry related thesis prize” from the Royal Spanish Mathematical Society (2011). Awarded with the “Ramiro Melendreras prize” from the Spanish Society of Statistics and Operations Research (2012). Academic visitor at Brunel University (London, United Kingdom, 3+3 months) and at the Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Belgrade, Serbia, 2 months). Collaborator in several projects for International Cooperation for Educational Development (El Salvador and Mozambique).
Research Interest
Linear and nonlinear mathematical optimization; mathematical modelling for Air Traffic Management; Mathematical modelling for Humanitarian Logistics; Exact and heuristic algorithms.
