Biography
Professor of Physics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Fellow of the American Society of Physics (2008). Director of the Complex Materials Physics Group GFMC (www.ucm.es/info/gfmc) with 7 permanent researchers (5 full professors and 2 asistant professors). Recruitment of 5 contractors Ramón y Cajal. Co-author of more than 200 SCI articles (H = 36, more than 4000 citations) and more than 50 invited conferences in congress and more than 50 invited seminars. Director of 11 doctoral theses and 5 in progress. Director of national and international research projects. Manager of the National Materials Plan (2010-2015) (Directorate General for Research), Program Manager Explora (General Director for Research) (2015-). Visiting Professor University of California San Diego. Visiting Professor Unite Mixte de Physique CNRS Thales.
