Biography
Jesús M. Fernández-García was born in Oviedo He did his universitary studies at the University of Oviedo where he also obtained his PhD. His thesis was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Enrique Aguilar and Prof. Manuel A. Fernández-Rodríguez (University of Burgos). It consisted on gold-catalyzed cycloisomerization and cycloaddition reactions on push-pull systems. In 2016, he joined as postdoctoral researcher at the Nazario Martin group in the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. He is currently researching about new methodologies for the synthesis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH).
