Biography
"Doctor in Information Sciences from the University of Navarra since 1980. Professor of the Area of ​​Journalism, specialized in Political Communication, Journalistic Professionalism and Precision Journalism and Data, in the Department of Journalism I of the Faculty of Information Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid. Four recognized sexenios of investigation and 6 sections of teaching. Professor of Official Masters in the aforementioned Faculty of ""Cyberpolitics and Cyberdemocracy"", ""Workshop on Research and Intervention in Political Communication and Electoral Campaigns"" and ""Precision Journalism, Civic Journalism and other new movements of journalistic professionalism"". His main lines of research are: Political Communication, Political Communication on the Internet and Theory of Journalism. He has been Professor of the aforementioned subjects and specialties, as well as Public Opinion and Methods of Research in Communication at the Spanish Universities of Navarra, Civil de Salamanca and Pontificia de Salamanca, with a total of 35 years of teaching dedication. He has been or is a member of the Editorial Board of the ""Political Communication"" magazines, of the International Communication Association (2001-07), ""Studies on the Journalistic Message"" (U. Complutense), ""Textual & Visual Media"" (Journalism Association) ), ""Ad-Comunica"" (Univ. Jaume I of Castellón), ""Sphera Pública"" (Univ. S. Antonio de Murcia) ""Saladeprensa"" (Mexico) and ""Légete"" (Chile). Member of the Expert Panel on Teacher Evaluation. Academia Program (ANECA-Spain, since 2007) and Project Evaluator of the National Evaluation Agency (ANEP). Member of the Founding Council of the Association of Researchers and Experts in Political Communication ""ACOP"". He has given international seminars and intervened as a guest at meetings of experts in the universities and centers of Oxford (United Kingdom), Berkeley (California), Florida International (USA), Perugia (Italy), Le Havre (France) Ibero-American, Autonomous Nuevo León, Autónoma de Chihuahua and Modelo de Mérida-Yucatán (Mexico), Nacional de La Plata (Argentina), PUC of Sao Paulo (Brazil), La Sabana, Del Rosario and Del Norte (Colombia), State University of Moldova (Moldova) ), Association of Communicators ""Calandria"" of Lima (Peru), UNIR Foundation, Bolivian Center of Interdisciplinary Studies of La Paz, and CESU of Cochabamba (Bolivia), and IMAS and National Association of Journalists of San José (Costa Rica), between others."
