Biography
Although my background and primary focus is in English Linguistics, I have always been interested in interdisciplinary research which integrates advances in traditionally separate fields of inquiry such as Linguistics and Computation. For me, the theoretical and methodological advances, as well as the wide range of applications that result from this interdisciplinary perspective, are one of the most enrichening aspects of research. From the theoretical perspective, I adhere to the (systemic)-functional paradigm in Linguistics and use empirical, corpus-oriented methodologies.
