Biography
Luis Guijarro is professor at the UAM and researcher at the ICMAT. He received his PhD at the University of Maryland under the supervision of Karsten Grove; afterwards he held a postdoctoral position at the University of Pennsylvania. His main interests are in Riemannian geometry, Alexandrov spaces and other topics of metric geometry, having coauthored more than twenty publications on the subject.
