Biography
"I work as Associate Professor at the Department of Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence , Faculty of Informatics , Universidad Complutense de Madrid . I am the director of the NIL research group and also of the Instituto de Tecnología del Conocimiento. Over the years, my research interests have shifted towards studying the role of narrative in human communication, with a view to applying it in human-computer interaction. My generic interest in understanding and modelling language still holds. I have the greatest respect for human creativity, and as I labour to understand it, I keep trying to tackle computational models of activities in which it is involved."
