Biography
César Molinas has a great deal of experience in the financial world. He is a founding partner of the Multa Paucis consultancy and currently, amongst other duties, provides services to the hedge fund Providentia Capital. Previously he was Director of Management at Merrill Lynch (London), responsible for asset investment strategies and European fixed income products. He worked for the Spanish Government during four years, mainly in subjects relating to the European Union. At this time he was General Director of Planning and responsible for the management of Structural Funds (3,000 million euros annually). He has been Director of the National Market and Securities Committee and of numerous Spanish public companies, including RENFE, Correos y Telégrafos. Before these companies, he dedicated more than ten years to research and university teaching. He is Bachelor of Mathematics and Doctor of Economics (Universidad de Barcelona), MSc in Econometrics and Economic Mathematics (The London School of Economics and Political Science). He has published many books and articles in specialist Economy and Mathematics publications.
