Pablo Cabello

Biography

Pablo is the Scientific-Technical Director of CRB. Bachelor of Biological Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid where he completed his postgraduate education in Human Genetics. He specialised in Molecular Genetics at the Centre of Human Genetics, Universidad de Lovaina (1989-1990). He began his career as a biologist in the sphere of human health in the ECEM (Estudio Colaborador Español de Malformaciones Congénitas) (1983). He worked in the Instituto de Biología Celular of CSIC (1985) and in the Servicio de Histopatología of the Fundación Jiménez Díaz (1986). He was responsible for the creation of the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics of the Genetic Medicine Service at the Hospital Ramón y Cajal (Madrid). He is author and co-author of more than 60 scientific articles published in specialist journals. He also gives courses in Clinical Genetics. Founder and partner of Cross Road Biotech.
