Currently working in CSIC.

Research Interest

My research focuses on ecology and conservation of chondrichthyan fishes (sharks, skates and chimaeras). I am especially interested in the trophic ecology of these species, habitat utilization of chondricthyans within ecosystems and the impacts that fisheries have on sharks and rays populations. I have expertise in several fields such as biologging in skates, biological oceanography, stable isotope analysis, taxonomy of chondrichthyans and evaluation of fisheries resources.
