Josep Miquel Cornado

Biography

 I studied the Degree and the Master in Chemical Engineering at the University Rovira i Virgili. I do not remember for certain when I first heard of Dow, but I do remember having seen the red diamond in various social and sporting events when I was a kid. At the school we visited the company several times and during my university period the presence of Dow was intensified with the sponsorship of various projects aimed at enhancing technical aspects, teamwork skills and student leadership.  Later, I started my internship as part of the Oilfield team of Dow Water and Process Solutions (DW & PS) at the Global Water Technology Center of Tarragona. They had an expected duration of one year, but at 7 months I received a call from the Department Human Resources and after going through various selection processes, I joined the Company to take on the role of Cracker Hot Zone Improvement Engineer. I currently perform the role of Production Engineer at the Octeno plant in Tarragona. In short, working at Dow is a challenging, intense and very positive experience in personal growth and professional development.
