Nielsen Jens Holger

Biography

Jens Holger Nielsen has worked for Samskip for the past 5 years. Prior to Samskip, he gained 20 years of container business and logistics experience from the A.P. Moller Maersk container business, predominantly Maersk Line.  He started as a management trainee at the A.P. Moller Maersk head office in Copenhagen in 1986. His last two positions within Maersk Line were as Managing Director for Maersk Line UK and Ireland. Both positions were based in London (2002-2006) and included responsibility for all associated activities. Before that he worked as Vice-President Business Development Europe for the A.P. Moller Maersk container business (2000-2002) at the head office in Copenhagen.  He has lived and worked in seven countries across USA, Africa and Europe, is fluent in English, German, French and Danish.  Jens holds a full time MBA from INSEAD, France.
