Biography
Josep Mota Balcells was born in Ivars de Urgell (Lleida) in 1951. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Barcelona and has completed a management training program at IESE. His whole working life has passed within Ercros. In 1974, he started working as a process control technician in Barcelona.
Research Interest
From 1975 to 1998, he held various positions at the Flix plant until he became the deputy director. In 1998 he was appointed deputy director of R & T of the Tarragona factory and later in 2005, director of Innovation and Technology of Ercros.
