Biography
Having worked with Microsoft for nearly 28 years in international leadership roles, Frank Utermoehlen has a deep understanding of developing markets for technology, software & cloud services - from the initial creation of revenue strategy, marketing & GTM planning, building partner frameworks, negotiating & closing deals, as well as developing teams to manage the ecosystem. During this time he has experienced Microsoft´s journey from a startup, with 50 people in Germany, to a leader in the IT industry. Utermoehlen´s academic journey began at the University of Karlsruhe, where he completed a dual degree in economics and computer science with a focus on marketing. Later in his professional life, he held director positions in marketing and sales, leading teams of up to +60 people and focused on his professional development around people management, negotiations, leadership while studying online.
