Member of the Executive, Governance and Organization and Compensation Committees. Former Consulting Professor and Senior Advisor, Stanford University, from 2001 to 2008. Former U.S. Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China from 1999 to 2001; Admiral, U.S. Navy (Retired), Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Pacific Command from 1996 to 1999. Admiral Prueher is also a director of Emerson Electric Co.​
