Biography
Mike Wheeler serves as Fluor Corporation's chief procurement officer. As chief procurement officer, Mr. Wheeler’s responsibilities include procurement, contract management, sourcing, travel services, logistics, and export control for all Fluor business lines globally. He also has oversight of Fluor’s supply chain entity dedicated to selling quality, cost-effective, stand-alone procurement services to midstream-market Clients. Mr. Wheeler joined Fluor in 2014 with 35 years of industry experience, including 17 years of experience as an executive in management consulting for the exploration and production, refining, petrochemical, and construction industries. Most recently before joining Fluor, Mr. Wheeler was the senior vice president of the Procurement & Contracting Centre of Excellence at Reliance Industries Limited in Mumbai, India. Previously, he led M.W. Wheeler and Associates, Inc., in Dallas, Texas as president and CEO, serving the energy industry with supply chain management, operations and maintenance, and capital optimization.
