Biography
Simon Nottingham is the president of the Power business line for Fluor Corporation, responsible for projects in the gas, nuclear, renewables, solid fuel and environmental markets. Mr. Nottingham previously served as the senior executive responsible for overseeing Fluor activities in Canada - particularly within the Energy & Chemicals sector. Since joining the company in 1993, he has held a variety of leadership positions spanning the areas of engineering, field engineering, construction, project management and program management in Canada, the United States and Africa across many of Fluor business lines including Energy and Chemicals, Mining and Metals, Life Sciences and Power. Many of the projects under his leadership have been recognized for significant safety accomplishments by the Client. Mr. Nottingham also volunteers his service through board positions with a variety of community organizations. While with Fluor Canada, he led the Graduates Advancing to Professionalism (GAP)SM network, which is dedicated to ensuring that new graduates at Fluor are enabled to advance through their careers effectively and was executive sponsor for the Growing Representation Opportunities for Women (GROW). Mr. Nottingham was also co-chair for the United Way of Calgary and Area Campaign Board for the Engineering Division in 2016.
