Biography
Professor of the University of Valencia. MSc in Economics from University College London and PhD in Economics from the University of Valencia. He has been a guest researcher at the Adam Smith Business School of the University of Glasgow. He collaborates as a researcher with the Ministries of Economy and Finance, the Rafael del Pino Foundation and BBVA Research. He is one of the authors of the REMS model, a simulation model of economic policies for the Spanish economy, the results of which have been presented by the European Commission, the OECD and the European Central Bank. His current research interest is focused on macroeconomic modeling to study issues related to fiscal policy, the labor market and the financial sector. His research papers have been published in national and international journals asThe Review of Economics and Statistics, European Economic Review, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Economics and SERIES . He is co-author of The Spanish Economy: A General Equilibrium Perspective .
