Biography
Medical doctor, certified pediatrician, PhD in human genetics and molecular biology from Johns Hopkins University, with a degree in Top Management from the IPADE. Member of the National Academy of Medicine, Member of the Mexican Academy of Pediatrics, Founding President of the Mexican Society of Genomic Medicine (2003-2004), General Director Founder of the National Institute of Genomic Medicine (2004-2009), Adjount Proffessor of Genomics and Bioeconomy, Harvard School of Public Health, President of the Working Party on Biotechnology at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) (2007- ), Member of the Board of Directors of the Human Genome Organization (2009- ); Chief Scientific Officer, Biofields (2009-2010); Executive President Global Biotech Consulting Group (2010 up to date).
