Biography
I am a conservation biologist and ecologist with a particular interest in marine vertebrates. My research has largely focused on the effects of global change and environmental factors on sea turtles´ embryonic development and their hatching success. To achieve this, I have used a range of field and experimental techniques, which allowed me to address a number of fundamental questions and applied conservation and management problems. I have actively participated in all aspects and phases of important projects involved in the Atlantic Ocean sea turtle conservation in Colombia, Panama and Cape Verde. 2010 Ph.D. (Salamanca, Spain).
