Biography

 Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1980). Specialist in Internal Medicine since 1985. Director of the Clinic of internal medicine and infectious diseases. He directs a team of 29 specialists in internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, digestive system, pulmonology and the HIV Infectious Unit. Coordinator of the follow-up of patients with HIV infection in the health area.  Member of the Association of Medical Sciences of Catalonia. Member of the Spanish Society of Internal Medicine and the Spanish Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology. Member of the PISCIS group (follow-up cohort of HIV infection) in Catalonia, collaborating in research and publications of this cohort.
